Most Austrian federal states have special funding programs. These generally support individual employees. The additional financial expenditure is subsidized when an educational qualification is obtained or career-oriented further training courses are completed. The funding providers are usually the state or funding companies from social partner cooperations. The amount of the funding is based on various criteria such as income, age, etc.
